Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>programmer>codewarrior (more info?)

Sounds a bit like "There and back again" although I'd much rather be
back again permanently.

So I'm getting more comfortable with converting CW projects to XCode
but I've run into a lot of things that the skimpy docs don't tell you.
My latest problem is that in nice, elegant Codewarrior you can disable
access paths by unchecking them. The XCode importer chooses to ignore
that and imports everything.

Rule #1: Keep your project really lean and clean.
Rule #2: Don't leave any CW projects open when you quit the IDE. The
importer won't work and won't tell you why.

But if anyone out there knows how to edit everything that's been
imported, I'd really like to know.

9 vs 8.3 vs Xcode - Hi all, I'm using 8.3 for both C++ and Java development, and mixed development through JNI. AFAIK CW 8.3 is the only tool around that lets me debug JNI while debugging Java. So I was very disappointed that Java was not supported in 9, and up to now I..

XCode to CW conversion. - Has anyone made any progress on a tool to convert XCode to CW? I still find it is worth my time to do this as I find XCode to be very unproductive. If anyone has a start it would be nice.
