Hi,
I have an Ibook laptop and I can't get it to start.
The power supply is working OK. The battery is fully charged.
It has been working OK until this morning. Last night I shut it down as
usual then when I came to start up again today there is no sign of power at
all. No noise, light, lights, nothing at all. I have taken the battery out
and used the power lead and also checked everything. Pressed the power
button for 10 seconds with the battery out and in.

Any suggestions that I can try would be great. Where can I get it fixed if
there is anything major wrong with it. UK Based.

Cheers
Lenny

That method of resetting the PMU only works with portables that have a
USB keyboard (later PowerBooks & all Intel portables). If your iBook is
from 2002 or later, press Shift-Control-Option-Power then wait 5 seconds.

For a complete listing of models & methodologies for portables, see
