Post subject: help - automate creation of PAR files?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>lang>applescript (more info?)

Hi:

Is there a way to automate the making of PAR files with Applescript,
either directly or by using a "do shell script"? MacParDeluxe is not
scriptable. I want to drop a folder onto an app and have PAR files of a
predetermined size limit and percentage created inside it.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks,

fro

Install the cli version of par (for example through fink[*]) and target
it through do shell script.

that can be used.
