Post subject: cant find files
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsmedia>player>mac (more info?)

i have windows xp and i keep getting this error message C00D1197 I have tried
downloading and it says it cant find the files can anyone help please? it
will be gteatly appreciated cause i just bought my 10 year old a mp 3player
and without help i or him cant do anything please help!!!!!

It's a little confusing, since we don't know anything about these
files. Are they stored on your local computer, or on the internet ?

If they're on your hard disk, what happens if you click on them in
windows explorer - do they play then, but just not from the media
player library ?

Do you know anything about the files - what type they are ?
Typical file types might be WMV, AVI, VOB, MPG, MOV
