Or to put it into context, SayNO's dad runs an independent computer games shop, and it aint doing too well right now. SayNO loves his daddy and is doing everything he can to get us to buy more of what the shop stocks and therefore revive its fortunes. The shop does not stock titles for consoles or Macs, so they must be exterminated and everyone be forced to buy PC games (it doesn't matter if you play them, just so long as you buy them). Linux, at least, has easy access to WINE. Support BeOS, now Zeta. I keep around a Windows machine for ONE reason: to play games. Many games NEVER get ported to the Mac, and if they do they are usually MUCH more expensive, late(Mac version comes out a year or so later at $60, PC version now a $5 bargain bin item), and missing features(network play interoperability, editing, etc.), e.g. NWN. Mac only games: Haven't been any that hot in a while, and the only decent looking one, Halo was borgified. I'd wish that Apple had chosen AMD64(slightly less kludged arch), but at least for gaming(going to wait until ALL macs are x86 and then a couple revisions b4 buying another mac) is that I'll be able to boot into windoze on the same machine to game, or, hopefully, run WINE under OSX and not reboot, or MAYBE, even something with complete virtualization VMWARE/VirtualPC run windoze under that with full hw access...
