XVID

Hi,

I am new to this game so hopefully I can get my message across. I am running
windows vista and I downloaded additional codecs so that I could watch xvid
movies with windows media player.
Most of the movies I can watch except for the ones which have AC3
www.mygroup.org behind the xvid on the extention. I am able to get picture
but no sound.
Can anybody tell me how I can get video and sound?

AC3 audio is typically found on DVDs with surround sound, though I've
never really seen it used on many downloaded / file shared videos.

You probably just need the Directshow AC3Filter to get you working :
