| Did anything ever come of Wine on Mac OS X?
I've found a few references to Crossover Office, but the price is more
than I want to pay for being able to expand Win32 self-expanding
archives.

Most self-expanding archives for Windows, in my experience anyway, are
common archive formats strapped onto the tail-end of a minimalist
extraction tool. I know that at least in some cases things like StuffIt
have been able to recognize and handle that as a simple variation on the
base archive format. >> Stay informed about: Wine? |

Apparently stuffit expander will open them.

That's what sparked the question, actually: Last updated December 2006.
Looks like it went nowhere. >> Stay informed about: Wine? |

that's why I sent the link to the crossover site and the list of
compatible apps. Seems like that is being developed, so I would think it
would go back into the source, or maybe not.

File Juicer is good at extracting various things from various things.
Cheaper than Crossover. One of my favorite little utilities. >> Stay informed about: Wine? |
