Post subject: Upgrade Word 2004 to write in Arabic

I need to upgrade Word 2004 to be able to write and open documents in Arabic. Someon said I should get something called Proofing tools.<br>

My Mac can change keyboard, but does anyone know how to do be able to write in Arabic in Word? What do I need to do?<br>

Someone lied to you (or possibly gave you non-Mac information). Get
Mellel. MacOffice doesn't do right-to-left languages.

Office 2004 will let you type in arabic characters but will not combine
them correctly.

Proofing tools let people check spelling (sometimes grammar) in Word in
various languages. They aren't available for Arabic---because MacOffice
doesn't support RtL.

NisuWriter and NisusWriter Express are fine tools for Arabic.
