This is a tough one. You will have to call Microsoft with proof that you
have purchased and they will issue you a new one. They will probably charge
you at least $25 to do this and it's going to take time to get them the
proof etc.

I suggest using one of the password managers so this doesn't happen in the
future. I have several listed here: (one is freeware) I'm not affiliated nor
do I receive a kickback on any of the applications listed.

Delete Office with the 'Office Uninstaller' and re install. Probably have to re-configure prefences.

When I try to install
microsoft office 2008 student and home edition to my macpro
it says that it cannot find software to install
what do i do? :frown:

I was recently informed of an upgrade to MS Office for MAC, 12.1.1.
I downloaded it, but when I tried to install it, I got the message that it could not be installed on this volume, my hard drive.
I have a 20" iMAC, G5.
Could it be that the upgrade will only install on an Intel based system?
