On my OS 10.6.2 2.4 GHz Unibody 13" MacBook, when I search for the term
"contextual" in Spotlight to find the Contextual Menu Items folder,
Spotlight searches a lot of places but NOT my user or root Libraries. In
fact, Spotlight downright sucks. Very frequently it cannot find docs in my
Documents folder, and never things in my Libraries. Is there a way to
control this, or improve Spotlight's performance? A lot of people seem to
like it, and a lot of apps utilize it in their functionality, so it must
work a lot better than it does for me. I am what many would call a Power
User, so I'm no dope. Any help?

Spotlight is an Apple feature of OS X. Microsoft has nothing to do with it,
so this is probably not the best place to find an explanation/answer. I
believe you'll get a faster, more useful response in Apple Discussions:
