Hi,

I'm having major problems installing Windows XP on VP 7.02. The
installation program won't let me install some SWF files, and then it
won't let me install some important SYS files such as p3.sys. The only
way I can continue the installation is if I skip those files.
Unfortunately, those SYS files are an integral part of Windows XP so I
can't even run the program. Anyone know what's going on? I'm running OS
X 10.4.4 on an iMac G5.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Where did you get XP? From a PC that you have?

Hi,

I try to install windows xp to my pc. The thing is after formating all the file will get copy and it will get restart automatically. And When the screen get start of window xp. The line which move from left to right that will move for 3 to 4 time and then it will stop there itself. Even after 1/2 hour it will remain same, it will not move further or it will not move to remaining installation or it will not get login.

Please i kindly request, to tell the solution to solve this.........

Mark,

I would try cleaning the CD or try to install it on another machine, but
don't activate it. If it works then you shouldn't have any problems. I have
had cd's that won't load some files and after cleaning them. They worked
just fine.

Todd

Can you make a good ISO file of the install CD? If so it should load those
file and the install will go faster too.
