Do you still have the driver or PPD file you used in OS X 10.4? That
should also work in OS X 10.5.

I just downloaded the latest driver. The ReadMe states:
[5] Restrictions and Notification about the use of this PPD File
*Following features are not available with MacOS X PostScript driver.
User ID
User Code
Sample Print
Locked Print
Document Server
You also could try the PPD from OpenPrinting.org
<http://openprinting.org/foomatic-db/db/source/PPD/Lanier/PS/Lanier-LD238
c_PS.ppd> It has provisions for user codes. You would have to edit the
PPD file to enter you user code. See the Ricoh FAQ for some basic
information about setting user codes.

If you are still having problems and your Lanier rep or customer support
cannot resolve the issue, you can find help from Ricoh reps at
