Hi,
I installed Leopard on a 17" PowerBook, 1,67 Ghz, and it seemed that
almost everything was fine. Next I burned a CD. Still fine. But soon as
I tried to burn a DVD, I had a problem. A fair amount of warnings,
ending up with "result code 13780". I chucked Toast for the moment and
tried without it, no change. I even added my external Pioneer and still
get the same result. I even installed Leopard for a second time. No
change. So I ran out of ides about what I could do and need your help Smile
Thanks, Yo

Toast 7.1.2 doesn't work with Leopard and gives this error.
A visit to <http://forums.support.roxio.com/> would have been far
quicker than re-installing the OS!
A patch is on the way.

Simon.

Thanks for letting me know. This page is interesting indeed.
I will probably upgrade to 8 soon as it is fixed for Leo.
What still puzzles me...
1. When I chuck Toast, why does the native program not burn DVDs?
2. when I use the external writer, why does that not work either?
But maybe everything refers to something Toast that I didn't delete etc.
Anyway,
if a patch fixes that - who cares Wink
Thanks again,

IMPROVEMENT: I bought Toast 8 and installed it. And indeed, I can burn
DVDs again.
I am delighted Smile
