I recently purchased a Samsung 930b 19" monitor for my iBook G4. The
instructions are vague (the result of lousy translation), and no matter what
I try, the type remains blurred. Not severely, but ceertainly not crisp.
Ninety percent of the work I do involves writing, thus this is a serious
hassle. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Ok it sounds like you have the computer's display output set to the
wrong resolution. Go to System Preferences -> Displays -> Display ->
Resolution. It should be set to 1280 x 1024. You will probably find
that this makes everything smaller, but not blurred.

Actually, now that I think about it, all text on Apple Macs always
appears slightly blurred, which is just a feature of the operating
system. (Windows will be doing the same thing in the next version.)

But make sure you have the resolution set to 1280 x 1024 anyway. If you
are using something like Pages or Microsoft Word, you can then increase
the zoom within Pages or Word and, combined with increasing the
resolution, it will probably help.
