Indiana Jones / Emperor's Tomb

The nazi is chasing me in his tank while I have to jump and whip and run
from him. This level is an order of magnitude more difficult than any
other level of the game and it's simply no fun. Are there any ways
around it? Turning on the cheat doesn't help at all because indy just
doesn't die, but can't continue if he's fallen or hit. The program
manager of this game made a huge mistake on this level.
