Regardless of the amount of power that you get from your Mac, you will
never be able to access or utilize it in VPC. VPC is an emulater
application and emulates everything(pretty much). Generally, it
emulates a PII 300Mhz processor. There are 'some' factors that will
allow you slightly better performance but not the blazing speed you
seem to be looking for. Other points to consider:
1. The more RAM that you allocate to VPC, the slower it will be (more
RAM, more to emulate). Don't go any higher than 384MB.
2. Leave the VRAM at 4MB.VPC doesn't access your video card, so
allocating more RAM to video is useless.
3. Quit as many applications on the Mac side as possible. VPC is very
processor intensive.
4. Cut all the bells and whistles in Windows( again, more to emulate)
Go to Help in VPC and type performance for more tips. Again, don't
expect smokin' speed from VPC.....you won't get it
