Sorry, but although you *may* get an answer here VMWare Fusion is not a MS
product & I doubt MS has any interest in whether it supports any particular
version of a Windows OS:-) You'd most likely get a faster & more accurate
reply from VMWare. According to their site, however, these are the
"officially" supported flavors:
Windows Vista (Business, Enterprise & Ultimate Editions)
In fact, I just found this on their site as well - the part captioned
"Virtualizing Consumer Desktops" will pretty much answer your question:

Hello Everyone! Just purchased VMWare's Fusion program for my new MacPro
(Leopard system) to run Windows. Also purchased Vista Home Premium, but
since then have read documentation indicating Fusion does not support this
version of Vista. Can anyone confirm this either way and if it does not
support, what version of windows should I have purchased? Shall I just leave
well enough alone and jump into the Mac world without my Windows security
blanket! Thank you
