Anyone else cheesed off about FileMaker's incompatability with Leopard - and
the fact that a compatibility update won't be released until November 17?

Or about their stated intent that no updates will be issued for any version
prior to FileMaker 9? Or that FileMaker mobile will be dropped December 19
(with support to end June 18, 2008)?

Hmmm ... now that mobile is no longer in the picture (which is the reason I
use FileMaker), maybe it's time to take another look at the MacOS X version
of Panorama ... which I've licenced, but never used. <sigh>

I am wondering if there are any really known and identified problems at
this point with older versions. We still run 6.0v4 in our office and
it meets our needs nicely.

At the moment, I'd say it is looking pretty good for 6.0 and 7.0, as I
have not yet seen any reports of problems with those versions.

I have done brief tests with 6.0v4 and 7.0v3 on Leopard. They don't
crash at startup (like 8.5 and 9.0 do, if your computer is set to a
region other than US). A friend also ran 8.0 briefly and it appeared to
be OK as far as that bug is concerned.

I haven't had a chance to do more extensive tests, and I don't use every
feature of FileMaker so I can't be certain I won't miss something.
