FrontPage-Extended subweb with this directory name already..

I am tring to create a new subweb with a name that I used
earlier on a subwed that I subsequently deleted. I get
the error:

FrontPage-Extended subweb with this directory name
already exists. Please use a different name.

I have ran accross this before, but do not remember the
resolution. I believe it involved a registry hack, but I
do not remember for sure.

I am running XP Pro and FrontPage 2002.

FP for MAC is no longer made or supported by Microsoft, and this FP for MAC
newsgroup has been discontinued

You probably are looking for the FP general newsgroup, or
microsoft.public.frontpage.client
