I've been offered a free used Epson Stylus CS5400, but I've also been
cautioned that it's drivers don't function properly with Tiger OS
10.4+...
Does anyone know whether this is true? If it DOES work properly with
Tiger then I want to grab it while I can!

I don't know why it _wouldn't_ work with Tiger. I used to have one which I
_know_ worked fine with Jag and Panther.
In any case, it's free, so try it and find out. All it'd cost is time.

And the drivers are preinstalled with Tiger, unless you omitted them
during installation.
