Post subject: Editing parameters in Thunderbird...
Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>comm (more info?)

Hello all...

I use Thunderbird for reading text newsgroups and viewing a
few binary groups as well. Granted, it's not as
sophisticated as Thoth or MT-Newswatcher (which I also
have), but I like Thunderbird's "3-panel" approach, with
everything displayed in a single window, particularly for
reading text threads.

I've found that when viewing a posting that has more than
two attached binary files, only the first two are displayed
and the others are ignored (that is to say, an icon
"placeholder" is shown where the pic would be displayed, but
the pic is not displayed).

I'm _guessing_ that there is an advanced parameter that can
be edited so that _more than_ just two images/attachments
can be shown, using the "Advanced" button in the
configuration editor (in the preferences).

But I don't know what it's called, if it exists.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
- John
