Post subject: Creating .so files from my Macintosh
Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>programmer>tools (more info?)

I have some C++ code which is currently being built as a DLL for
Windows and a dylib for the Mac. I need to create a .so equivalent for
Linux/x86. Is this something I can do with Xcode, or some other
Mac-hosted program? Or am I forced to use a Linux box?

Thanks in advance,

Jonathan Hoyle
