Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>hardware>storage (more info?)

Hey,
Does anyone know a cheap way to put together a RAID 1+0 in a desktop?

I'm trying to save some money and not get the xserve so I bought a
bunch of ATA100s and wanted to setup my G4/1Ghz MDD. Currently, I've
got a couple of SIIG cards for RAID 0 and I may mirror them using Disk
Utility on Panther if it works okay. Unfortunately, RocketRAIDs only
work with Serial ATAs (oops) and I couldn't find anything else to do
the trick.

Thanks,
Jeremy
