Archived from groups: microsoft>public>mac>office>powerpoint (more info?)

I've noticed a 3D acceleration issue, one I believe is video card related and
yes of course, I have 3D acceleration enabled in the Slide Show Setup.
System is Dell XPS M1710 laptop with Windows XP and PowerPoint 2003.

With 3D acceleration enabled, I am trying to output through a Matrox
TripleHead2Go to create a 3 screen show. All of this works perfectly, my
issue is that even with the output to the laptop screen off, the 3D
acceleration to the three screens in PowerPoint is not happening. I have
tested other 3D applications and the acceleration works without issue and the
Matrox is set-up so that it is recognized as 1 screen so it should work in
PPT as well.

Any guidance or suggestions you can give would be appreciated.

thanks,
- G

Best "guidance": You might try placing the issue before a PPt for Windows
newsgroup rather than one for Mac PPt - which is what this one is:-) most
likely not your fault based on the UI you have to deal with, but you should
find the correct venue here:
